Forest hut ROVTARICA, is suitable for various seminars, courses or workshops, among others also forest pedagogy. Absolutely as well as for families, who would find their peace in forests, with hiking or cycling.

The hut can host up to 19 persons. All rooms on the top floor have two, three or four beds. One double bed is on the ground floor, and is also available as an apartment on its own. On the same floor is big multi-purpose room for dining or lectures, kitchen, two bathrooms and two toilets. Electricity is running on gasoline generator, central heating is arranged on wood. In addition, a traditional tiled stove is also in the common area for dining.

Most of the autochthonous animals are presentin the near forests of Jelovica, which can be seen with a little luck from the balcony or from the warmth of the hut in the big clearing which spreads around it. Flora is also very diverse. Rovtarica is a great starting point for trips to mountains, cycling or just exploring the nature. It is a relaxing point for both adults and children, who can enjoy the unspoiled nature around it.

In the nearbz environment you can get aquainted with the geological characteristics of Jelovica: Karst phenomena and two natural reserves - "Ledina" marsh and marsh "Za blatom".

The nearest settlement is Bohinjska Bistrica, in the distance of 16 km.

Rovtarica is marked under the location (GPS coordinates) 46°17'8" 14°5'29" and lies on the high alpine-karst plateau Jelovica, at an altitude of 1089 m. It has been part of the Natura 2000 area since 2004.

It is accessible with all road vehicles, from four valleys: Bohinj, Lipnica and Selška valleys, or through Petrovski hrib and Soriška planina from the Primorska region. The fastest way is through Tolmin or Podbrdo - Petrovega

From Gorenjska or Ljubljana basin, the road connection is the fastest over Bohinjska Bistrica and Nemški Rovt or across Selška valley (Dražgoše). There is also a macadam road from the direction of Radovljica - Spodnja Lipnica.

RENTAL CONDITIONS

In the event of cancellation less than 30 days before the scheduled arrival, the lessor can charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the rental value. In the event of a cancellation of a lease, less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival or in the event of an unforeseen event, the lessee may charge a fee of 100% of the rental value.

The lessor reserves the right to completely or partially deviate from the booking-lease, if, before the beginning of the lease or before the lease, there are extraordinary circumstances that could not be expected, removed or avoided, and for the lessor, these circumstances constitute a valid reason why the provisions would not have concluded if they had existed at the confirmation of the lease with an advance payment, but the landlord should, at the time of such circumstances, return the full to the payer.

If the landlord finds that after the completed stay the object or its surroundings is in a condition that exceeds the final cleaning, the lessor will charge additional cleaning in the amount of the cleaning costs. If the lessor finds damage on the facility or on its inventory, the beneficiary shall reimburse the damage or the purchase price of the replacement inventory.
